Overview:
As part of the Bio-2-Glycols Operations Team, I contributed to the scale up and daily operations of a glucose to ethylene glycol pilot plant. My work focused on process optimization, system construction, and ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
Key Contributions:
Led the construction of a 10-liter glucose to ethylene glycol pilot plant, participated in Hazardous Operations (HAZOP) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) meetings to ensure safety and operational excellence.
Designed and implemented a motorized sugar addition system, streamlining feed preparation and increasing consistency.
Brought a Hydrogen Electrolyzer system online, collaborating with the manufacturer to finalize commissioning and integration.
Conducted routine maintenance, including spent catalyst removal and system reloading, to ensure seamless pilot plant operations.

Overview:
Repaired and maintained various 3D printers and resin printers while supporting the lab’s manufacturing operations. This role allowed me to develop expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and print preparation for diverse applications.

Maintained and repaired 3D printers and resin printers to ensure consistent operation and high-quality output.
Prepared and optimized print setups for manufacturing applications, improving efficiency and print accuracy.
Journey in 3D Printing:
My passion for 3D printing began with FIRST Robotics, where I used 3D printers to visualize and prototype robot components. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I collaborated with my robotics team to 3D print mask tensioners and face shields, supporting first responders and essential workers. These experiences inspired me to join my university's 3D Printing Club, where I expanded my knowledge and contributed to innovative projects, eventually earning the role of lab technician.

Overview:
As a Manufacturing Intern, I contributed to the fabrication, welding, and assembly of critical components for thermoformers and horizontal carousel assemblies. This role provided hands on experience in manufacturing processes and CAD design while supporting the Engineering Department in expanding their part library.
Key Contributions:
Fabricated and welded steel door frames, press mounts, and other structural components using MIG and TIG welding techniques, ensuring precision and durability.
Managed and organized parts within the company’s Product Data Management (PDM) system, expanding the fastener library to improve accessibility and streamline design workflows for the Engineering Department.
Assisted with machine shop processes, including paint preparation, grinding, and assembly, contributing to the completion of thermoformer systems ahead of schedule.
Collaborated with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot assembly issues, refining workflows and improving production efficiency.
