Skyscraper Energy Recovery Capstone
Completed: May 2025

This capstone project involved designing and prototyping an energy recovery system for wastewater in skyscrapers. The system converts kinetic energy from dropping wastewater-filled tanks into electrical energy through a generator. Utilizing principles of dynamics and kinematics, I developed a MATLAB script to predict the prototype's behavior, including the movement of the tank, tension in the cables, and energy generated. Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) was conducted to identify components requiring redesign after modeling indicated potential failures. All findings and analyses are detailed in the full report below.

Aircraft Design
Completed: December 2024

This project focused on designing a next-generation aircraft, prioritizing aerodynamics and fuel efficiency. The report outlines the entire design process, from concept to simulations, and highlights the final optimized design. Key findings include a 25% increase in cruising speed and a 200 lb. increase in payload capacity through aerodynamic modifications.
